Chinese New Year Show - January 30th @ University of Memphis
Chinese New Year is one of the most important tradition of chinese holidays & means also - Spring Festival. This year, the University of Memphis booked The Dancing Fire to perform a Chinese New Year Fire Show complete with fire breathing, fire eating, spinning balls of fire, and much more. Natalia, Maverick, Amber Lea, and Natalie performed to various traditional chinese new year's celebration music, chinese drums music, and for a surprise pop hits - Prince's "Party Like its 1999" and also "Celebration".
The Dancing Fire fused fire, ribbon dancing, fan dancing, veil, and LED/glow performances with traditional chinese music and costumes for a unique show in the Rose Theatre at University of Memphis. Take a look at some of our photos from the show :)
